Scylla and Furax Barbarossa will reunite on stage at the Théâtre de la Mer in Sète on June 17, 2026. Two figures of francophone rap, each advancing with a clear identity, combining precise writing with a stage presence free of unnecessary effects.
Scylla, a Brussels-based rapper, commands a deep voice and a lyrical approach that blends poetry with impact. His often introspective universe rests on solid technique, serving texts that probe vulnerabilities and nuances. He is also behind Pleine Lune, a duo project with pianist Sofiane Pamart. In recent years he has cemented his presence on stage, including a performance at the ING Arena in Brussels before 10,000 people.
Furax Barbarossa, from Toulouse, moves forward with a recognisable timbre and a sharp flow. For a long time he has pursued an independent, direct form of rap, driven by incisive writing and sustained intensity. His career has been built album by album, in close contact with a loyal audience.
For more than fifteen years the two MCs have woven connections, producing tracks that have become touchstones for their listeners. Two voices, two approaches, the same exacting standard. In Sète they will share the stage for a joint date—an opportunity to hear their complementarity take shape—at the Théâtre de la Mer on June 17, 2026.
