Heavy Lungs + Chest.

On 8 April 2026 at L’Autre Canal in Nancy, Heavy Lungs arrive with the abrasive energy that made their name. Their second album, Caviar, released in 2025, extends a tense, direct sound. On stage the Bristol four-piece plays stripped-down and raw: tight rhythms, edgy guitars and a voice that cuts through, for intense shows with no frills.

They’ve shared bills with IDLES, Oh Sees and METZ, hovering somewhere between noise, punk and post-punk. Hailing from Bristol, Heavy Lungs place emphasis on density and sudden shifts, with songs crafted for live performance and a dynamic that carries the room.

chest. come from Paris and cultivate a close-knit, friends-first post-punk/noise rock: five musicians shaping their sound from what they listen to and encounter every day. Their approach mixes sharp edges and saturated grit, while keeping hooks that stick.

Plugged into effects and powerful dynamics, they crank up the volume without sacrificing melody. Live, it becomes a shared release where people dance, mosh and sing—each in their own way.

They’ve opened for DITZ, KNIVES and Heavy Lungs, and played festivals and venues from Rock en Seine and La Maroquinerie to Dublin. Gig by gig, chest. is widening its playground and honing its identity.

Their first EP, All Good Things Ends, was released in February. Already picked out in NME’s 2025 NME 100, the band has promoted it in France, England and across Europe. Single by single, they’re preparing a debut album slated for the second half of 2026.
