In a few months, VEN1 has emerged on the French rap scene. He draws roughly two million listeners per month with only four tracks available on streaming platforms.

On November 20, 2023, VEN1 released his first track, “Hakayet.” Four months later, the release of the music video brought him to wider attention. His reserve and distinctive voice have aroused curiosity. With a balaclava and sunglasses, he asserts a strong visual identity.

A native of the Pablo Picasso housing estate in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine, 92), VEN1 highlights the DNA of his département, and his Algerian origins inform his work. Deeply attached to his city, he recounts the lives of those around him. He depicts the daily realities of his peers, their struggles and their moments of life. He incorporates Marseille and Maghrebi influences into his music and raps about his sorrows and his joys, between melancholy and celebration.

With his personality and his universe, VEN1 continues his path in French rap.
