Déportivo returns to the stage in Lunel on 24 April 2026 at the Espace Georges Brassens. After a seven-year break and almost twenty years of activity, the trio picked things up again in October 2022 at La Cigale, relaunching a tour and the desire to play together. Between taut alternative rock and finely honed lyrics, the formation led by Jérôme Coudanne has traced its course from Avec eux to Ivres et débutants, with a directness of writing that inevitably recalls Miossec. It’s easy to see why Bashung, Les Wampas and Louise Attaque were among their early supporters.
In this new phase, Déportivo moves forward without nostalgia, faithful to Coudanne’s maxim: 'one eye on the rear‑view mirror, the other on the horizon.' In Lunel, the band will mix signature tracks, rougher numbers and recent songs in a tight, frank and no‑nonsense set — an opportunity to rediscover an incisive sound driven by a solid rhythm section and razor‑sharp guitars, true to the band’s identity.
