Zoufris Maracas

Zoufris Maracas is expected at La Condition Publique in Roubaix on April 10, 2026. Since their beginnings, the group has carved out a path between French chanson and rhythms from elsewhere, with guitars up front and wandering melodies. Their lyrics address work, exile and freedoms, with a storytelling knack that hits the mark. Between poetry and social engagement, their music draws on rumba, ska and reggae, in a lineage that sometimes echoes the spirit of La Mano Negra or Les Négresses Vertes. Four albums and more than 700 concerts have shaped a direct sound, conceived for the stage, where people dance without losing sight of the words.
