Kompromat

KOMPROMAT is the joint project of Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior (Sexy Sushi, Mansfield.TYA), a collision between techno pulses and cold‑wave melancholy. After Traum und Existenz, released in 2019 on Clivage Music, the duo shaped PLДYING / PRДYING, issued in January 2025 on Warriorecords, Rebeka Warrior’s label. The record moves through prayers and rituals, death and dance, pleasure and a loss of bearings, each a passage between flesh and trance. Their grammar remains hybrid—between EBM, new wave and industrial techno—but this time English replaces German to produce a different intensity. KOMPROMAT will present this repertoire on 6 March 2026 at Le MeM in Rennes.

On stage, Vitalic and Rebeka Warrior weave a physical face‑off: pressure‑driven beats, incantatory vocals and razor‑sharp synth lines. The material is direct, rhythmic and hypnotic, faithful to their way of blurring the boundaries between club music and cold wave. This Rennes date extends the momentum of their new album and reveals a duo that conceives celebration as a collective ritual, where the body answers the machine and the voice charts its own course.
