Royal Republic arrive at La Sirène La Rochelle on March 8, 2026, bringing their stage-ready blend of rock and power-disco. Formed in Malmö in 2007, the quartet made its mark with their debut album We Are The Royal and tracks like “Tommy Gun” and “Full Steam Spacemachine,” before following up with Save The Nation and an acoustic detour under the alias Royal Republic and The Nosebreakers. Weekend Man opened a more dance-oriented path that the band fully explored on Club Majesty, with songs like “Fireman & Dancer” and “Anna‑Leigh.”

Since then the machine hasn’t stopped: RATA‑TATA, Back From the Dead and now a fifth album, LoveCop, produced by Adam Grahn and Michael Ilbert at Hansa Studios. On stage, Hannes Irengård’s gritty Telecaster crosses with Adam Grahn’s vocals, driven by Per Andreasson’s precise drumming and Jonas Almén’s groovy bass. Royal Republic strings together tight riffs, taut rhythms and catchy disco melodies, with that tongue‑in‑cheek sensibility that’s their hallmark.
