Elmer Food Beat

Forty years after their debut in Piriac-sur-Mer, Elmer Food Beat brings their uninhibited French rock back to Strasbourg. On October 2, 2026, the band takes over Artefact La Laiterie Strasbourg for an anniversary Re-Tour that retraces a history shaped on the road and onstage.

Formed in 1986 around Twistos, Vincent and Manou, and soon joined by Kelu, Kalou and then Grand Lolo, Elmer played countless stages and tours, from the Olympia to festivals. Over the years the band has sold nearly a million records, earned gold and platinum discs, won a Victoire de la Musique and maintained a steady media presence, without losing their taste for candid songs and collective energy.

For their 40th anniversary, Elmer will perform 30 cm in its entirety, the emblematic album that propelled the band to the forefront, and will present the rest of a repertoire built for live shows. Immediate choruses, clean guitar tones and tight rhythms: a journey through their standout tracks, blending mischief, a party spirit and direct rock. An opportunity to (re)see a band that has remained true to its course, driven by the same desire to share the stage on a grand scale.
