Meet us on 8 March 2026 at Halle 622 in Zurich for Heaven Shall Burn's appearance. A pillar of German metalcore since the late 1990s, the band combines cutting riffs, hardcore urgency and dark melodies. On stage it's direct and hard‑hitting: low‑tuned guitars, a tight rhythm section and breakdowns that make way for the crowd's choruses. Their set moves between full‑on assaults and instrumental respites, threaded with the social tension that runs through their lyrics.
The Black Dahlia Murder takes over on the American melodic‑death side. The twin guitars trace rapid lines, the drums alternate blasts and grooves, and the vocals shift from deep growls to rasping screams. The tracks follow one another without slack, driven by precise songwriting and memorable lines that show the band in full command of their territory.
Frozen Soul, from Texas, lays down a block of glacial death metal. Heavy tempos, massive riffs and a stony atmosphere — the band distils an old‑school sound into the present, compact and unadorned. Enough to tighten the ranks and give weight to the evening, between deliberate heaviness and cold vibrations.
