Thibault Cauvin returns to the stage with a brand-new venture: an album made up entirely of original compositions and a tour conceived as an intimate journey. At the Bourse du Travail in Lyon on 3 May 2026, the French guitarist unveils this repertoire on classical guitar, blending personal composition, echoes of travel and a spirit of sharing. On stage he seeks precision in sound and gesture, brings words into the heart of the music, and relies on carefully crafted lighting and set design to carve out a distinct space.

Recipient of 36 international awards and having performed in 130 countries, Cauvin has developed his instrument through encounters with stages and audiences. The rock energy he inherited from his father pushed him beyond conventional boundaries, and his collaborations — including a notable duo with -M- — have nourished his storytelling impulse. His first novel, Alter Ego, extends this curiosity and informs his concerts today. In Lyon he opens a new chapter: a guitar attuned to the present moment, breathing compositions, and a musical narrative that charts its course without barriers.
