Bertrand Belin returns to the stage on April 2, 2026 at the Big Band Café in Hérouville-Saint-Clair with a new album that opens up different sonic landscapes. He pushes his exploration further and deepens his trail: a very present piano lights up an electronic-guitar-and-drums fusion, already at the heart of his recent records but revisited. Strings emerge in brief touches, lift the harmony and carry the voice toward shifting atmospheres, between earth and sky.
The lyrics remain close to the essential. The themes are existential: our place, our gazes, our movements, our loves, our attentions, our impulses, our fears and our questions. Belin sings more than usual, and his expansive prose stretches his customary minimalism toward new offshoots. On stage, these new songs find their balance in a spare, precise arrangement, where each sound calls the next without superfluous effects, resulting in a moment that places voice and writing at the center.
