Laura Laune returns with Glory Alleluia, a solo show in which her dark humour unfolds without compromise. A Belgian comedian, writer and singer, she combines texts and songs to tackle sensitive subjects with a direct tone and a strong sense of irony. Beneath an apparently naïve guise, she plays with boundaries, subverts conventions and seeks the absurd in everyday life. Her precise writing favours clarity—between biting refrains, characters too polite to be honest and deadpan lines that land at just the right moment. Not provocation for its own sake, but a mirror held up to our reflexes and certainties.
