Arthur H et Pierre Le Bourgeois

Arthur H and cellist Pierre Le Bourgeois come together for a musical face‑to‑face at the Théâtre de l’Atelier in Paris on 21 March 2026. A tight dialogue between piano, keyboards, guitar and voice on one side, and cello on the other, their music moves between acoustic and electronic. Pierre pushes his instrument from the naked breath of the strings to rougher textures; he samples, loops and transforms in real time. Arthur lays down motifs, sings, opens up spaces, then shifts and expands the material. The sound moves from the warm grain of the instruments to conspicuous processing, like an open workshop where every gesture counts. Nothing is glossed over: the analogue remains the driving force, the machine follows the human. Together they blend improvisation, rearranged classics and spontaneous composition to tell the present as closely as possible, through listening and the moment. Music made before our eyes, with the pleasure of play as its guiding thread.
