Cœur de pirate, a Quebec singer-songwriter and musician, continues her path between piano, pop and emotionally raw storytelling. Since 2008 she has split her life and stage between Montreal and Europe, with a clear, intimate voice that moves from introspection to momentum and a way with lyrics that hooks the listener. She returns with Cavale, an album conceived for live performance, shifting from a stripped-down piano to more electronic pulses, from introspective songs to choruses that carry the audience along. The staging plays on two axes: the artist at the keyboard who lays the song bare, and the performer who embraces the rhythm, without losing attention to the words and melodies.
