Amel Bent is back on stage. After 490 days away from the spotlight and social media, she took the time to write and compose an intimate eighth album, conceived as a personal log where wounds, doubts, strengths and truths intertwine. Twenty years after her debut, her voice still occupies the space between pop, R&B and soul, with a distinctive timbre and a direct way of expressing what she’s experiencing.
This tour opens a new chapter. Songs from the new album mingle with the tracks that have accompanied her audience from the start, in tight, stripped-back arrangements focused on performance. Without excess, Amel Bent places her trust in the lyrics, the melody and the energy of live music to reconnect with the stage and return to what matters: singing, simply.
