An Art-Folk outfit treading the same musical grounds as bands like Wilco, Bright Eyes or Sparklehorse, they blend indie-folk, pop and rock heritage to create their own sound and atmosphere.
The band, led by Victor Pavy, has been through many lineup changes, until finally finding the right balance.
After two E. Ps and "Golden summer" and "Fingers From The Swamp" , released as singles in 2008, Saibu is gathering attention from the music press by the day.
In this time they have also become a solid live act, and have successfully supported french cult band(s) Syd Matters, Hey Hey My My and Cocosuma as well as US indie icons Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and Yo La Tengo.
