CRISS AKA THE RAIN

Criss starts as a musician around the age of 16 with hip hop and turntablism but going very soon to abstract hip hop and drill'n'bass for a short time...
Later he begins producing in 4/4 with the project "Nice Guys" and his career as a dj and live performer gets going in the main turin's techno organization Xplosiva, djing and performing live alongside djs such as Ellen Allien, Agoria, Dj T, Matthew Jonson, Magda & Troy Pierce, Nathan Fake, Jeff Mills, Luciano, Ricardo Villalobos, Zip, Roman Flugel, Ritchie Hawtin, Steve Bug, Carl Craig to quote a few...
22 y. o., after been selected and taking part in Redbull Music Academy in Melbourne he started his solo career devoted to the most unusual and weird side of dancefloor oriented music, while embracing the abstract culture and looking for the "non perfection", trying to combine totally contrasting and tormented emotions and attitudes. Already out on netlabels like Essential Reload, Tonimusic, Multivitamins, Silenzio, he's gonna release his first 12" on Claque Musique and is workin' on a new project with Le K (Circus Company,Force inc.,Floppy Funk).
