Ce concert fait partie du Focus Afrique du Sud organisé par la Villette pour les 20 ans de la libération de Nelson Mandela. Il marque le grand retour de JOHNNY CLEGG sur une grande scène française pour la prochaine sortie de son nouvel album. Il sera précédé de VUSI MAHLASELA, autre grand artiste anti apartheid, ainsi que de ERIC MOUQUET/ DEEP FOREST et BLICK BASSY pour leur « Football made in Africa ».
