Info
On 18 February 2027, Sophia Stel lands at Heaven in London with a live set built for the in-between: alternative pop songs stretched over dream-tinged electronics, where the hook matters as much as the atmosphere around it. Coming out of Vancouver’s hybrid pop scene, she writes like a producer and sings like a songwriter, threading supple breakbeats through misty synth layers and melodies that hover between fragility and distance.
If you’ve caught the tension of “ineedthat,” you know her way of making intimacy feel widescreen, with suspended textures and a queer sensibility that’s more felt than stated. Onstage, she leans into rhythmic ruptures, soft-focus harmonies and that slightly melancholic, future-facing glow heard across her EP Object Permanence. Expect a set that moves between close-up vocals and off-centre electronic pop, with special guests adding extra angles to the night.
