Info
On March 4, 2027, Beast In Black bring their “North American Tour 2027” to The Palace Theatre in Calgary, setting the tone with a punchy, melodic take on power metal. Built around Anton Kabanen’s writing and Yannis Papadopoulos’ high-flying vocals, the band mixes fast guitars and big choruses with a strong keyboard presence, borrowing as much from classic heavy metal as from 80s pop sheen and synth-driven, eurodance-adjacent textures. Expect that crossover feel to translate into a set that moves between speed, hooks, and futuristic atmospheres, with nods to their Berserk-inspired imagery and their more modern, synthwave-leaning era.
Gloryhammer join the bill with their symphonic power metal saga, turning the stage into a live chapter of their fantasy and sci-fi universe. Known for rapid tempos, choir-heavy refrains and straight-to-the-point melodies wrapped in orchestral arrangements, the band leans into its character-driven storytelling, shaped across albums from Tales from the Kingdom of Fife to Return to the Kingdom of Fife. In Calgary, it’s a night where riffs and theatrics go hand in hand, without losing the momentum.
