Info
On March 3, 2027, The Starlite Room in Edmonton hosts a power-metal double bill built for big choruses and fast tempos, with Beast In Black leading the night and Gloryhammer bringing their full-on fantasy sci‑fi universe.
Beast In Black’s sound hits that sweet spot between classic heavy metal drive and a slick, modern edge: sharp guitars, soaring vocals, and keyboards that flirt with 80s pop, eurodance and synthwave. Founded in Helsinki by guitarist and main songwriter Anton Kabanen, the band leans into manga-inspired imagery and stories that jump from fantasy to cyberpunk moods, in the vein of albums like Berserker, From Hell with Love and Dark Connection.
Gloryhammer, born in Dundee, turns the stage into an ongoing saga where each member embodies a character. Expect speed, choirs and symphonic layers shaped by their conceptual records, from Tales from the Kingdom of Fife to Return to the Kingdom of Fife, now fronted by vocalist Michele Guaitoli.
