Info
Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox lands in Winnipeg on May 5, 2027 at the Burton Cummings Theatre with “The Future Is Vintage World Tour”, and the idea is simple: take today’s hits and flip them into a whole other era. Led by pianist and arranger Scott Bradlee, this ever-changing collective rewires pop, hip-hop and R&B into jazz swing, ragtime, doo-wop, soul or big band, like they were made for smoky clubs and old-school ballrooms.
Onstage, the rotating lineup of singers and musicians is part of the thrill: new voices step into familiar songs, changing the mood, the groove, sometimes the whole story. Expect tight arrangements, a retro backbone, and that playful tension between a track you know by heart and a version that suddenly feels like a timeless standard.
