Info
On May 16, 2027 in Toronto, Ocean Alley bring their North America ’27 run to History with the kind of set that turns laid-back grooves into something tightly locked. The six-piece from Sydney’s Northern Beaches moves between psychedelic rock haze, surf touches, dub weight and funk swing, driven by elastic basslines, warm guitars and a steady, unhurried pulse. Expect tracks that drift on atmosphere but stay punchy in structure, pulling from their run of albums from Lost Tropics through Chiaroscuro and beyond, with newer material sitting naturally next to fan staples.
Mild Orange open the night with their hushed, dreamy indie pop built on airy guitar lines and soft psych colours. The Dunedin quartet’s songs lean into melody and mood, the kind that lands quietly and sticks around, drawing on the intimate feel of records like Foreplay and Looking for Space.
