Info
On June 19, 2027, Jools Holland brings his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra to Swansea Arena for a night built around the piano, the groove, and that big-band lift he’s been refining for decades. First known as the founding pianist of Squeeze in the late ’70s, Holland has carved out his own lane where rhythm and blues, boogie-woogie, swing, and rock’n’roll meet without ever feeling like a museum piece.
Expect sharp, fast-paced piano lines at the center, with arrangements that leave plenty of room for the brass to punch and respond, pushing the music forward like a rolling conversation. It’s the kind of show that leans on tradition but plays it live and loud, designed for an audience that wants musicianship, drive, and that classic R&B energy translated into a full-orchestra format.
