Info
On September 10, 2027, André Rieu brings his signature mix of violin-led classics and crowd-friendly orchestral music to Dublin’s 3Arena. A conductor who never hides behind the stand, he moves between leading the ensemble and stepping forward as soloist, shaping a programme built around the Viennese waltz and its offshoots.
With his Johann Strauss Orchestra, Rieu blends Strauss favourites with operetta excerpts, film themes, popular melodies and well-chosen classical pieces that stay direct and melodic. Expect polished arrangements, big rhythmic swells, and that light, dancing pulse that makes a concert feel more like a shared night out than a formal recital. Rieu’s shows also leave room for voices and choral moments, plus a real sense of back-and-forth with the audience, so the set can shift from elegant to playful without ever losing its flow.
