Info
On June 22, 2027, Kraftwerk land at The Piece Hall in Halifax for a show that’s less a classic gig than a full-on audiovisual set-up built around their catalogue. Born in Düsseldorf in 1970, the group helped define electronic pop by swapping rock dynamics for tight, repetitive patterns, synthetic melodies and that cool, processed voice that feels half-human, half-machine.
Expect the big, clean lines that took shape from Autobahn onward: mechanical rhythms, minimal hooks, and themes that orbit technology, travel and modern life. From the precision of Trans-Europe Express and The Man-Machine to the pixelated pulse of Computer World, Kraftwerk’s songs are made to be played loud and sharp, like moving architecture. Still led by Ralf Hütter, the live show leans on synchronization, strong imagery and constant reworking of familiar pieces, turning the classics into something that stays in motion rather than a museum replay.
