On October 12, 2027, Pomme brings her finely tuned mix of French chanson, contemporary folk and acoustic pop to The Mod Club in Toronto. Known offstage as Claire Pommet, she built her sound around soft timbres, melodic precision and writing that keeps things close to the skin: intimacy, anxiety, love, and the small cracks you don’t always say out loud.
From her early releases En cavale and À peu près to the more pared-down Les Failles, Pomme has sharpened a style where arrangements leave room for the words to breathe. More recently, Consolation widened the canvas, and Saisons pushed into a more orchestral, multi-movement direction. Onstage, that evolution tends to translate into a set that can move from bare, voice-forward moments to richer textures, without losing the directness that makes her songs hit.
