Info
On April 18, 2027, Faun brings its Usa & Canada Tour to Toronto, stopping at The Opera House for a night built around pagan folk, neo-medieval textures, and a taste for old stories told with modern tools. Active since the late 1990s, the German collective has shaped a sound where layered voices meet strings, winds and percussion, with acoustic instruments often brushed by subtle electronic treatments rather than drowned in them.
Expect a set that moves between ballads, reworked traditional dances and original songs inspired by European folklore and ancient texts, sometimes sung in multiple languages. Over the years, Faun’s lineup has shifted like a living ensemble, but the core idea stays the same: making tradition feel present, physical, and rhythmic onstage—half concert, half shared ritual, without the costume drama.
