Info
On May 8, 2027, at Warsaw's Proxima, two bands that like to fuse heaviness with a chorus that sticks in your head will meet. Memphis May Fire and Dead By April are touring together on a co-headlining tour, so you can expect full-length sets from both acts.
Memphis May Fire have long centered around metalcore and post-hardcore, but they always place emphasis on melodies: alongside dense riffs and transitions into screams, there are clean vocals and strongly crafted choruses. From 'Sleepwalking,' through 'The Hollow,' to newer material such as 'Remade in Misery,' you can hear how they have refined the balance between aggression and an emotional, modern sound.
Dead By April add a Swedish flair to this: metalcore and nu metal, the contrast of clean singing with screams, and electronic textures that drive the rhythm. The band has a knack for catchy tunes, and in Warsaw there is a good chance you'll also hear classics like 'Losing You' or 'What Can I Say.'
