Info
On March 9, 2027, cleopatrick will play The Melkweg in Amsterdam. The Canadian duo, with Luke Gruntz on vocals and guitar and Ian Fraser behind the drums, builds their set around a straightforward guitar-and-drums sound: heavy riffs, tight song structures, and plenty of room for dynamics between rough and melodic. Their songs breathe the energy of alternative rock with a hard rock edge, without frills and with a clear DIY mentality.
Live, for cleopatrick, it's all about drive and timing: two people who sound like a complete band, with songs in which friendship, life in a small town, and the rough edges of growing up come through in the lyrics. Expect material from their early releases and the direction they've laid out on BUMMER: compact, hard-hitting and direct, made to move in a packed club.
