Info
Orbital return to the road with the kind of set that treats rave history like a living thing, not a museum piece. On April 16, 2027 at Rock City in Nottingham, the Hartnoll brothers bring their melodic, narrative take on British electronic music, built at the crossroads of techno, breakbeat and ambient. Expect long, evolving tracks that shift gear slowly, letting grooves lock in before opening up into bigger, more cinematic passages.
Since the late 80s, Orbital have always worked both sides of the equation: music you can get lost in at home, and music that hits with full physical impact in a room. Their catalogue moves from early acid-era momentum into broader, sometimes more politically edged writing, and their more recent work keeps the door open to sharp vocal collaborations. Live, it’s still about that classic Orbital tension: precision programming with the rush of a proper rave pulse.
