Info
Guitars, sweat, riffs and raw energy: the Dynamite Shakers make rock without asking for permission. Formed in the playground by four friends from Vendée, the band built itself in DIY mode, crisscrossing bars and campsites before racking up more than 400 shows and opening slots for The Offspring, Sum 41, Pixies or Nick Cave. With an average age of 23, Élouan, Lila-Rose, François and Calvin draw from Cochran, the Pixies, Gun Club or Sonic Youth as much as from the urgency of contemporary rock. After a first EP and several singles, they return with Marilyn, their second album, produced by Lionel from The Limiñanas. Garage rock, punk, tense pop, psychedelia and guitars in fusion: 14 tracks that hit hard and spill over. Marilyn is a direct and visceral record, carried by the desire to make rock strong, free and alive.
