Info
On February 27, 2027, Vanessa Williams brings her voice and songbook to the Opera House Manchester, with a live set that leans into what she’s built since the late ’80s: pop and R&B with a smooth soul core, plus ballads that can slip into jazz-tinged phrasing and Broadway-style storytelling. From the early era of The Right Stuff to the sleek grooves and adult contemporary polish of The Comfort Zone and The Sweetest Days, her catalogue is made for the stage, where details in timing and diction really land.
Over the years she’s kept widening the frame, moving between new studio releases, seasonal records, and a parallel life in musical theatre on Broadway and beyond. That mix tends to shape her concerts: songs that ride a tight pocket, big melodic lines, and moments where the interpretation matters as much as the hook. Expect an evening built around range, control, and that crossover ease between pop sets and theatre lights.
