Info
Supergrass come back to the UK circuit with a headline date at NX Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, on 26 April 2027. Formed in Oxford in 1993, the band built its name on that sharp britpop sweet spot where punk drive, big pop hooks and alternative rock grit all meet. Expect a set that pulls from six albums and a catalogue made for loud rooms: the rush of “Caught By The Fuzz”, the instant lift of “Alright”, and the darker, punchier turns of “Richard III” or “Pumping On Your Stereo”.
From the fast, direct impact of I Should Coco through the more layered writing of In It For The Money and the band’s later shifts into denser arrangements and glam-leaning textures, Supergrass have always kept the songs tight and the choruses front and centre. After splitting in 2010 and reuniting in 2019, this 2027 show is a chance to hear that full arc live, with the same collective snap that made them such a solid stage band in the first place.
