Info
On November 28, 2026, Pikkujoulut brings a proper Finnish rap double bill to Hybridiarena Hype in Espoo, with Elastinen and Mikael Gabriel sharing the spotlight.
Elastinen comes from the old-school side of the scene, built on the Fintelligens era and a long solo run that keeps hip-hop at the core while leaning into melodic, punchy production. Expect direct writing, clean rhythms, and that crossover energy where rap hooks sit naturally next to pop-rap formats, without losing the cultural backbone.
Mikael Gabriel arrives with a more contemporary, chart-friendly angle: Finnish-language rap mixed with pop sheen and big melodic choruses. His set typically moves between introspective cuts and straight-to-the-point bangers designed for the stage, shaped by years of collaborations across Finland’s rap and pop worlds. Together, it’s a night that maps two generations of mainstream rap in Finland, built for a loud crowd and real sing-alongs.
