Info
On December 17, 2026, at Gleneagle Arena in Killarney, Phil Coulter brings Gold & Silver Days to the stage, a show built around the piano-driven side of his long career. Born in Derry and shaped by Irish songcraft as much as by British pop, Coulter moves between tender folk melodies, Celtic themes and clean, singable harmonies.
This is a chance to hear the songwriter and arranger behind landmark hits from the late 60s, as well as the composer of pieces that became part of modern Irish repertoire. Onstage, he leans into the directness of his writing: tunes that feel like stories, carried by a warm touch at the keys and arrangements that keep things simple and clear.
Expect an evening that connects his pop pedigree to his later, calmer instrumental work, the one that made albums like Classic Tranquility and Sea of Tranquility so recognizable. Gold & Silver Days is less about big gestures than about melodies you can hold onto, and the particular way Coulter turns nostalgia into something immediate.
