Info
Ayra Starr brings her Starrgirl World Tour to London on February 2, 2027, at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, with a set built for the way she moves between afropop, contemporary R&B, Afrobeats and the alté edge. Raised between Cotonou and Lagos, she came up fast after early tracks shared online, then broke through in 2021 with the Ayra Starr EP and the album 19 & Dangerous, where melodic hooks and a flexible voice carry stories about relationships, self-assertion, and that messy, exciting coming-of-age phase.
Onstage, expect that mix of English, Nigerian pidgin and Yoruba to land like a conversation, shifting from sweet to sharp without losing the groove. Since “Rush” pushed her reach well past Nigeria, she’s kept widening the frame through collaborations that touch global pop, Caribbean rhythms and smoother R&B, while staying rooted in her afropop core. With The Year I Turned 21, she leans into more introspective writing, and this tour stop feels like a snapshot of an artist stepping confidently into her international era.
