On 13 November 2026, Kangding Ray will join Sirāt at the Muziekgebouw aan ’t IJ in Amsterdam, at the intersection of concert, club energy and live cinema. The Berlin-based producer and composer, known for his blend of techno, ambient and experimentation, is turning the soundtrack of Oliver Laxe’s hallucinatory road movie into a physical listening experience: layered textures, deep bass and rhythms that sometimes break and click back together, as if you stand in the middle of a moving landscape.
During this set, Kangding Ray brings to life the world of Sirät with precise, spatial sound that can tilt from tightly pulsing to abstract and immersive. At the same time, Oliver Laxe projects live images from the film, supplemented with material that has not been previously published. The result is not a simple film concert, but a performance in which image and beat continually chase and stretch each other.
