Info

Things are getting colorful, big, and long. Tanzhaus West in Frankfurt am Main has a birthday and goes all in on all floors. The lineup offers something for everyone: techno, house, trance, bounce, and groovy tunes.

In addition to a whole string of solid local acts and residents, the club looks forward to birthday guests Cem, Nene H, and Fabe, to the Sachsentrance colleagues traveling for their Showcase Floor with Hotboi2300, Mëro, Stargurl, and to the Doppel B Days tradition with Die Mitte der Gesellschaft (MdG), who celebrate their wild 13 with us.

Cem, co-founder of the Berlin institution Herrensauna, brings dark, intensive club moments to the floor: his sets fuse punk attitude, UK breakbeats, and uncompromising techno with palpable roots in queer club culture. With his unpredictable twists and dark moods, he creates an energy that even hesitant dancers are drawn to the floor.

The Berlin-based artist Nene H combines classical piano precision with high-speed mixing. Her multi-layered sound meanders between driving Acid Techno, percussive SWANA influences, and raw, emotional energy. As a voice of the underground cultural scene, she brings a culturally deeply rooted stance directly into the club.

With roots in 90s hip-hop and a penchant for analog hardware like the SP-1200, Fabe brings his raw "4-Track K.O. House" to the stage. His minimalist approach turns a few raw elements into complex, flowing rhythms. The result is an organic groove.

In addition to the three acts from outside, the creme de la B Day creme of the local scene fills the full lineup. From A to Z it sounds like this: Adhass, Assena, b3b$, Nikki5, Bouncy B, Concussion b2b Felix, DJ Harakin, Khasar, Madame Blueberry, Otis, Otis Xo, and Q Nani.

The Sachsentrance collective travels to host a floor. The rest is handled by the FFM locals: Assena and DJ 069.

Sachsentrance grew out of a counter-movement and stands for tolerance, respect, and inclusivity, with no room for discrimination of any kind. The Sachsentrance residents each bring their own sound, from trance and hard dance to hardstyle and Neo Rave. The label has released several records and compilations that are as indispensable on European club and festival dance floors as their residents.

With Mëro, a talent from the Irish techno scene, arrives. From Paris, Stargurl brings her sound to the fore — bouncy, powerful, and rooted in the Berlin club culture. Completing the package is Hotboi2300, the Cologne-based Sachsentrance resident, who with a blend of hard trance, bouncy techno, and energy makes international floors sizzle.

The Mitte der Gesellschaft celebrates the infamous 13, wild, loud, colorful. Tanzhaus West and MdG have long been a match. So it is only natural to celebrate Pride and their own birthdays together: 23 years of Tanzhaus West meet 13 years of MdG. Known for flamboyant days and nights, the collective works by the confetti principle, loves eccentric outfits, and creates welcoming spaces for all with a More is more attitude. The crew takes over and transforms the café in flamboyant fashion. There are sets by Fra.u.mor, Laurine Philippe, and NiCOlodeon. The rest of the crew joins the dance.

Tanzhaus West is celebrating its 23rd, and you are all invited.
