Info
YaniSs Odua stops by Rock School Barbey in Bordeaux on March 25, 2027, for a live show tailored for today’s Francophone reggae. A major figure from Martinique, he has, since the 1990s, carried an independent music between roots reggae and Caribbean dancehall, with a blend of melodic singing and toaster-style toasting, in French as well as Creole. On stage, everything hinges on energy and the direct connection with the audience, a reputation built through countless concerts and sound systems. His repertoire spans tracks that have become touchstones such as Rouge Jaune Vert and Chalawa, and speaks as much about everyday life as about attachment to the Caribbean. From Yon Pa Yon to Stay High, including Moment Idéal and Nouvelle Donne, YaniSs evolves his sound toward more urban and international colors, without losing the reggae backbone. A concert to rediscover this trajectory in live mode, as close as possible to the audience.
