xeno & oaklander is a minimal-electronics duo (Liz Wendelbo and Sean McBride of Martial Canterel) based in Brooklyn, New York. They have been active in the analog-synth scene since 2004, the year of the release of their debut album Vigils on Xanten, and have contributed to the revival of synthwave in the USA and worldwide through tours and releases.
Jonathan Baker and Benedikta Ársælsdóttir, performing as A Solemn Promise, explore with their EP Feathers an emotional state of feeling isolated and the search for solace in one another, like doves gathering in a square. The duo creates a sound that is at once vulnerable and abrasive, blending elements of industrial and neoclassical music.
Kantine am Berghain, Berlin, on 17 December 2026.
