Info
Flyte land at The Gate in Cardiff on December 5, 2026 for an acoustic show that puts the writing front and centre. Built around Will Taylor and Nick Hill, the project has always leaned on close vocal harmonies and a narrative way of telling songs, with roots in 60s–70s pop and folk but a clear place in today’s indie landscape. Expect clean guitars, interwoven voices and pared-back arrangements where the lyrics can actually breathe, moving between indie pop, contemporary folk and soft rock.
Across albums like The Loved Ones, This Is Really Going to Hurt and their self-titled Flyte, they’ve kept tightening the focus: fewer distractions, more melody, and the kind of emotional detail that hits hardest when it’s delivered quietly. In this acoustic setting, their trademark duet-led songs should feel even more direct, like you’re catching them mid-conversation rather than watching a big production.
