Info
On 13 October 2026 at The Lower Third in London, Marika Hackman brings her close-up songwriting to the stage, balancing hush and bite in the same breath. First spotted in the early 2010s through a run of EPs, she’s built a world where stripped guitars, a soft-leaning voice and sharp, intimate lyrics do most of the work. Over time, her sound has shifted from dark folk and minimal atmospheres to a more front-facing alternative rock edge, without losing that sense of tension under the surface. Expect songs that move between clear melodies and tighter, sometimes more synthetic textures, with a focus on relationships, the body, and the way anxiety creeps into everyday scenes. This show is a chance to hear that evolution live: direct, precise, and emotionally close enough to feel like a conversation.
