Info
On February 24, 2027, SOAK takes the stage at Hasard Ludique in Paris for a concert that mirrors her songwriting: direct, intimate, no-frills. Behind this name, Bridie Monds-Watson, from Derry, has carved a singular path between indie folk, dream pop and alternative pop, carried by an intimate vocal and a guitar in the foreground.
Revealed with Before We Forget How to Dream (Choice Music Prize, Northern Ireland Music Prize, Mercury Prize nomination), SOAK subsequently broadened the frame on Grim Town, then refined a more flexible and melodic writing on If I Never Know You Like This Again, without losing that taste for personal narratives and skin-deep emotions. After tours and notable festival appearances, she comes to promote decembers, her fourth album, in a format that promises songs that breathe, between soft tension and pop clarity.
