Info
On Friday 28 May 2027 at The Bullingdon in Oxford, China Crisis bring their Liverpool-born new wave and synth-pop back to the stage. Built around the duo Gary Daly (vocals, keyboards) and Eddie Lundon (guitar, vocals), the band has always known how to balance melodic keyboards, chiming guitars and a supple, song-first rhythm section.
Expect a set that moves across the different shades of their catalogue: early ’80s electronic pop and gentle post-punk energy, then the more polished, sophisti-pop side that took shape on records like Working with Fire and Steel and the Walter Becker–co-produced Flaunt the Imperfection. It’s the kind of live show where the hooks are clean, the grooves stay warm, and the lyrics keep that introspective edge—pop that’s smart without trying too hard.
