Info
On June 13, 2027, Suki Waterhouse brings her solo show to The Piece Hall in Halifax, a chance to catch her in full indie-pop mode: intimate songwriting, hazy dream-pop textures and that calm, nocturnal glow that runs through her recent work. After first being seen in fashion and on screen, she’s built a steady musical identity since 2016, moving between folk-leaning ballads and muted alternative pop.
Live, expect a set that pulls from her Sub Pop-era releases, from I Can’t Let Go to Milk Teeth, with room for the wider, more open sound of Memoir of a Sparklemuffin. Ethereal guitars, soft-focus melodies, and choruses that land without forcing it: the kind of songs that work just as well in quiet moments as they do when the band opens up. A gig for anyone into indie pop with a bittersweet edge and a real sense of atmosphere.
