Info
On February 21, 2027, Night Lovell lands at Gorilla in Manchester with the kind of rap that thrives after dark. Born in Ottawa as Shermar Cuba Paul, he’s built a sound where hip-hop, trap, cloud rap, grime and slowed phonk blur into one heavy, misty lane. Since his early breakout with “Dark Light” and the Concept Vague era, he’s kept that stripped-back formula: slow tempos, deep voice, thick bass and atmospheric production that leaves plenty of space for tension.
Live, expect tracks pulled across his run of releases from Red Teenage Melody to Goodnight Lovell, Just Say You Don’t Care and I Hope You’re Happy, with that same mix of detached calm and sharp edges. Whether you came in through internet rap circles or later collaborations around the scene, this date is a chance to hear his introspective writing and dark melodies hit with full-system weight in a proper room.
