Info
Hot Water Music hit Birmingham on April 9, 2027 at O2 Academy Birmingham for a night built around the band’s signature mix of melodic punk and post-hardcore grit. Born out of the Gainesville DIY scene in the mid-90s, the Florida crew became known for tight, propulsive songs and writing that goes straight to the point, carried by the alternating, sandpaper vocals of Chuck Ragan and Chris Wollard.
Expect a set that can jump from the late-90s breakthroughs to the bigger early-2000s records, without losing that urgent, hands-on feel that made them a staple of punk rooms on both sides of the Atlantic. After their mid-2000s pause and return, Hot Water Music kept pushing forward in the studio too, so this date is a chance to hear the newer era alongside the classics, all with the same driving rhythm section and locked-in dynamics.
