Info
Nessa Barrett brings The Tough Love Tour to Rock City in Nottingham on March 6, 2027, with a set built around her emo-tinged pop and darker alt-rock instincts. Onstage, her songs move between intimate, slow-burning ballads and more driven tracks where saturated guitars meet sharp, modern pop production.
Expect a selection that traces the arc from Pretty Poison through young forever, and into the more shadowy direction of hell is a teenage girl. Barrett’s writing stays close to the skin, tackling mental health, complicated relationships, and self-destructive impulses with a blunt, diary-like honesty. The show leans into that tension: vulnerable verses, big choruses, and a live energy that turns introspective pop-rock into something you can feel in a room full of people.
