Info
On September 30, 2027, Archive will visit Dübendorf at The Hall with the ‘GLASS MINDS & NOT IN MY NAME TOUR’. The London collective around Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths has been moving since the 1990s between electronics, trip-hop and rock-infused tension, sometimes cool and precise, sometimes really physical. Live, it works like a long pull: hypnotic beats, layers of synths and guitars, and these slow crescendos that suddenly open up.
Anyone who has discovered Archive through ‘Again’ knows how much the band relies on atmosphere and dramaturgy, without settling into pure nostalgia. Instead of a best-of routine, there’s room for sprawling arrangements, changing vocalists, and the feeling that a track can tip at any moment. An evening for all who enjoy diving deep into songs, when trip-hop meets post-rock.
